Can I choose multiple services at one time?
Yes, just click as many as you need and the correct time will be blocked on your schedule.

Problems creating a new account?
Your Login Username must be at least 6 characters in length. It is recommended that your username contain alpha and numeric values.

Does this system work everywhere?
Yes, anywhere that has internet connection. Ex. One stylist works in North Carolina and had a client make an appointment from Florida while on vacation! This particular stylist was also in the Grand Cayman and was able to check her schedule for the following week!

What do clients see when looking at my schedule?
Clients can view when their appointments are and only what times you have available. The only appointments they can change or move are their own.

Where do I find my clients information?
Go to my account, click on customer tools. You will find all your client information located under customer list.

Can I change or add services?
Yes, go to my account and click on edit services reference data. You can add a service by clicking add a service row. If your service type is not listed you can choose to add a service type. If you no longer provide a service you can click the inactive button for that individual service beside the service.

How do I send emails for special discounts to all of my customers?
Go to my account, click on the email manager. You can create a new email to send out to all clients or only a few. It will automatically save your emails until you choose to delete them.

How do I use the pre-book feature?
On the day view beside your client's name you will see the pre-book button. Simply click the button, then you can check the date for how many weeks out you want to go. When you get to the week, just choose your day, service and time.

How do I make repeat appointments? Ex. Weekly shampoo styles.
Enter Customer's name, choose service, then enter the time under step 3 along with how many weeks you want between services. Choose day then click repeat.

Why are the columns on my schedule as wide as my monitor?
When you enter in Client History information with no spaces, the system views this text as one word. When the day columns are set not to wrap the text, then the system makes the column as wide as your longest text word.

I don't know how my customers can make an appointment - like what's the procedure?
There are several different steps that most of our clients use when integrating with our website. Usually when salon professionals have their own website, they use a combination of two steps. Add Appointments Online link that lists the exact steps that your customers take to link to your NeedAHaircut.com and NeedASpa.com schedule. The last step on your website would be the direct link to our site. For your customers that may not be using your website yet, we can help you with some NAH "setup" business cards (Please refer to Help/Business Card Example link) to physically hand out to them. This is a gentle hint for them to go online and make their next appointment. Also...Some of our other salons suggested having a workstation accessible for their customers in the lobby. When they are leaving, they can make their own appointments. Once they realize how easy it is, they usually start making their appointments from home or work.

I am a Salon Owner. How do I setup my employees accounts?
When you Create A New Account, the system will ask you to enter the number of employees that you are setting up. Once you have completed the basic setup information, we suggest that your individual employees go back and enter their login, password and specific services if necessary. There will be a Salon Administrative Account setup automatically. This person has total access to everyone's account. They can make appointments for everyone, etc. There is an Organization Administration Account section under My Account link. This is where you can edit all your employees information. If a Service Type has Shared Salon Service checked on the Setup Services page, then this Service is only displayed once on the Make Appointments pages. (Please refer to My Account/Edit Services Reference Data link.) If one of your employees offers additional specialty services, simply add a Service record under their individual account. Do not select Shared Salon Service to get the Service to show up only for this individual. There are six steps involved in initial account setup. [1] Enter your Contact information. [2] Create Salon Account. [3] Create Salon Unique ID. [4] Setup Services. [5] Payment Terms and Agreement. [6] Account Summary.

I dont' have an internet connection at my salon, can I still use this service?
Certainly. We have several clients who manage their accounts from their home internet connection. Every night after midnight the system automatically emails you your next days schedule. There are several time management tools under the My Account link. One is Block Current Day Customer Appointment Entry after a certain time. When this is selected, your customers cannot make an online appointment for the current day. We also have an Edit Incremental Time Off feature. Refer to our Features list for more information.
